Privacy
What this site knows about you, what it does not, and which tools reach out to outside services.
Last updated: October 2, 2026
The short version
We do not ask you to sign up, we set no advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell or hand over personal data. Some tools on the site need outside services to work; this page says exactly which, and what is sent to them. Those services handle what they receive under their own privacy terms.
What is stored in your browser
- The language you chose, so the site opens in it next time.
- A note that you have already seen the opening animation, until you close the tab.
Both stay on your device. There are no cookies.
Visitor statistics
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and does not follow you across sites; we see totals such as pages viewed, countries and device types, never individual people.
BEK, the AI guide
What you type to BEK is sent to Groq, the AI service that writes the answer, together with the earlier messages of the same conversation. We do not store conversations, and they end when you close the page. Please do not type personal or confidential information into the chat.
The voice translator
- When you tap the microphone, a speech service turns the recording into text: for Uzbek, your browser's own recogniser where it has one (in Chrome, Google's), because it hears Uzbek best; otherwise an AI speech service — Groq, or Google's Gemini. We do not keep the recording.
- The text is translated by Groq or, when it is busy, by MyMemory, a translation service.
- Finished translations are kept for up to seven days so the same sentence is instant next time. They are stored without any link to you.
Do not speak or type anything confidential.
Map and directions
- Your location is requested only when you tap “Use my location”, and it stays in your browser.
- To draw a route, the start and end points are sent, rounded to about ten metres, through our server to an OpenStreetMap routing service.
- Place searches go through our server to Photon, an OpenStreetMap search service.
- Map images load directly from OpenStreetMap, which therefore sees your IP address and the area you look at.
- “Open in Google Maps / Yandex Maps” takes you to those services, under their own policies.
Keeping the site running
Like every website, ours is delivered by a hosting network (Cloudflare), which processes IP addresses to deliver pages and block attacks. To stop abuse of the AI tools we count requests per visitor for up to a day, using a hash of the address rather than the address itself.
Weather and exchange rates
These are fetched by our server from Open-Meteo and the Central Bank of Uzbekistan. Those services never see you.
